School of Health Sciences - Math Placement TestsA Calculus Readiness Test must be taken before you can meet with your academic advisor to register for classes during Day on Campus, so it's important that you take one of these tests before coming to Purdue for Day on Campus. NOTE: There is a study guide, set of practice problems, and a formula sheet provided by the Math Department that you can download (PDF files) to help you prepare to take the Math Placement Test. To take the CRT go to the following website: http://www.math.purdue.edu/crt You will need to login before you can take the CRT. To login enter your Purdue Career Account username in the box marked "Purdue Username" and your Purdue Career Account password in the box marked "Password" and then click "Log In." Read the instructions very carefully before you try to take the test, especially those concerning navigation (don't use the back & forward buttons on your browser) and timing. CRT - The CRT offers a practice test, which you may take as many times as you like. For the actual or real CRT you will have up to 45 minutes to answer 21 questions. You may take the real CRT up to three times, and your highest score is the score that is used for placement purposes. Be sure to write down the score(s) you receive from taking the CRT (e.g. - 14/21). You will need that information when you complete the "Pre-Registration Information for Day on Campus Survey" online. NOTE: Your browser must have cookies turned on to use this system. Your scores will be reported to the School of Health Sciences for our records. |
