Since its inception in 1948 by Dr. John Christian and transition to the Purdue School of Health Sciences (formerly Bionucleonics Research) in 1979, this school has graduated over 5,000 students. Those who have returned to West Lafayette for Homecoming are warmly greeted by faculty, staff, and students in the Health Sciences.
