The HSCI faculty and students including Drs. Dydak, Zimmerman and Zheng showed a strong presence in the international neurotoxicology conference in Xian, China last year. Dr. Zheng organized and presided the conference as the Chairman. More than 300 researchers from 26 countries in five continents attended this 5-day conference. The Conference is a joint official event of the International Neurotoxicology Association (INA) and the Subcommittee of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH), and financially sponsored by U.S. National Institute of Health, U.S. EPA, Chinese Natural Science Foundation, and industrial sources. Purdue students (Sherleen Fu and Zaiyang Long) won the best student presentation award in the Conference.
